US Iran Peace Talks: Amidst the increasing tension in the Middle East, the possibility of the second round of talks between America and Iran to be held again in Pakistan has been expressed. According to the American newspaper New York Post, President Donald Trump has indicated that new talks regarding the Iran war can be held in Pakistan within the next two days.
According to the report, Trump appreciated the role of Pakistan and praised its military leadership, especially Asim Munir. He said that such talks should be held in a country which is directly related to this issue, and not in a country which has no connection with this conflict.
It is clear from this development that Pakistan is once again trying to play an important role as a mediator in this entire crisis and wants to establish itself at the center of the regional peace process.
Trump called The Post reporter again
According to reports, shortly after talking to a reporter from The Post about the possibilities of future talks between the US and Iran, Trump called again to give an update. In this he said that you should stay there. Because anything can happen in the next two days. We are more inclined towards going there. Apart from this he said that the possibility is high. Because the Field Marshal is doing a great job there.
The President of America was continuously talking about Field Marshal Munir. Trump’s association with Munir happened during India’s Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. This was a major action in response to India’s Pahalgam attack. At that time Trump had said that this war stopped because of him, however, India denies his claim.
