Pakistan Navy has successfully tested an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship missile. This missile is capable of hitting targets with accuracy. The army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that the missile is equipped with a guide system and advanced mobility, which enables it to avoid threats, adapt to changing conditions and strike with precision.
Pakistan tests indigenous anti-ship missile
ISPR said in the statement, ‘Pakistan Navy successfully test-fired indigenously developed and ship-launched anti-ship missile and hit its target with high speed and accuracy at long range. It has a modern navigation system. This makes it easier to avoid enemy danger, adapt to changing circumstances and launch accurate attacks. This missile is launched from a warship. It can destroy targets located far away.
Pak Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf witnessed the launch of the missile along with leading scientists and engineers. The last test of this missile was done in November last year. ISPR said that this weapon system is capable of targeting both sea and land targets with great accuracy.
Saudi gave loan to Pakistan
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is on a tour of three countries, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. During PM Shahbaz’s visit, Saudi Arabia has given assistance of 2 billion dollars to Pakistan. Actually, Pakistan was asked by UAE to return the loan of three billion dollars by the end of this month. In such a situation, Pakistan has now sought help from Saudi Arabia, so that it can repay the loan taken from UAE.
Pakistani media Dawn reported that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday confirmed that Pakistan has received $ 2 billion from Saudi Arabia. The Central Bank said that the amount was received in the value date of April 15, 2026. This development has come at a time when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has gone to Saudi Arabia to promote peace in the Middle East and take forward diplomatic efforts.
