India has become strong in the field of defence: Rajnath Singh
Referring to India’s growing military capability, the Defense Minister said, ‘Earlier, when it came to defence, we used to depend on imports to meet our defense needs, but there has been a huge change in this. Now instead of being importers, we have become exporters. You will be happy to know that this time we have exported defense goods worth about Rs 39,000 crore.
On April 22 last year, there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. In this attack, 26 innocent people were brutally murdered, of which 25 were tourists. Within this one year, the Indian Army not only killed the terrorists who carried out this cowardly attack, but also destroyed the terrorist camps present in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
India took revenge by running Operation Sindoor
‘Operation Sindoor’ was launched to destroy terrorist bases present in Pakistan and PoK. In this operation, many hideouts of terrorists were completely destroyed and a large number of terrorists present there were killed. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had described ‘Operation Sindoor’ as a symbol of India’s military power and national character. The Defense Minister said that this is not just a military operation, but a symbol of the courage and restraint of the nation.
This terrorist incident not only put humanity to shame but also created anger in the entire country. At the same time, the Indian Army remained engaged in the siege of these terrorists under Operation Mahadev for 93 days. A team of Para Special Forces chased the terrorists for about 250 kilometers in this operation on very difficult roads. On July 28, 2025, Operation Mahadev reached its end and the terrorists were killed.
