‘No one is a bigger feminist than the Prime Minister’, what and why did Kangana Ranaut say for PM Modi?

BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, while speaking in the Lok Sabha on Thursday (April 16), praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and described him as the sole flag bearer of feminism. During the debate on the Constitution (131st Amendment) Bill 2026 in the Lower House, Kangana said, “Today the daughters of India believe that there is no one bigger feminist than the Prime Minister.”

Called PM Modi the only flag bearer of feminism
Kangana, BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, while addressing the Lok Sabha, described PM Modi as the sole flag bearer of feminism and said that PM Modi has shown faith in the women of India. She further said that today the daughters of India believe that there is no one bigger feminist than the Prime Minister and these daughters of India will always be grateful to him.

Kangana Ranaut said in Parliament that we will always be grateful for the faith she has shown in the women power of India. Let us tell you that Kangana was discussing all three bills in the special session of the Lok Sabha, the objective of which is to increase the existing 543 seats to 850 and ensure one-third representation of women in the lower house.

What did Kangana say about the delimitation process?
During the address, Kangana supported linking the bill with the delimitation process and called it a constitutional requirement. He described the delimitation process as important and extremely necessary. Saying that social change should be reflected in politics, Kangana Ranaut said that during his tenure in Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi continuously raised his voice against female feticide and worked to raise awareness on this issue.

Responding to the opposition’s criticism of the bill being passed in a hurry, Kangana said that Prime Minister Modi is working fast to provide justice to the women of India. He said that the Prime Minister is in a hurry to provide justice to women.
