Iran-US Talk: Everything is on track, when will the peace talk be held in Islamabad? Latest update has come from Pakistan

An important update has come to light amid the ongoing war between America and Iran. According to Pakistani sources, the second round of talks between the two countries may start on Wednesday (22 April 2026). Talking to Reuters, a Pakistani source, on condition of anonymity, said that the talks are moving in the right direction and the next round is expected to take place on time. According to him, things are progressing and talks are on track for tomorrow.

The source also indicated that if an agreement is reached during these talks, US President Donald Trump may also participate in it. This involvement can be direct or through virtual medium. This is also considered important because no concrete result could be achieved in the first round of talks. In such a situation, now everyone’s eyes are on the second round to see whether progress can be made towards any agreement between the two countries or not.

Tension regarding Strait of Hormuz
The situation regarding the Strait of Hormuz also remains serious. Recently America seized an Iranian ship. Iran has called this action an aggressive step. After this incident, relations between the two countries have deteriorated further. This incident is also worrying because the Strait of Hormuz is a very important sea route. Meanwhile, Iran has warned that if the blockade by America continues then it can close this route. This route is very important for the world because about 20 percent of the world’s oil passes through this route. If it stops, its effect will not be limited to this area only, but the supply and prices of oil will be affected all over the world.
