Indian businessman Darshan Singh Sashari shot dead in Canada, criminals again committed a major crime.


Darshan Singh, a big businessman of Punjab origin, was shot dead in Surrey city of Canada. This incident happened outside his house, when he had come out of his residence. Darshan Singh was associated with the business of textile recycling and hundreds of employees worked in his factory.

Canadian Police has started investigating the matter and the extortion angle is also being investigated. According to initial information, Darshan Singh had been receiving ransom threats for some time, but he did not take them seriously.

Darshan Singh was a resident of Ludhiana district of Punjab.

Darshan Singh was originally a resident of Doraha area near Ludhiana district of Punjab and had shifted to Canada many years ago. There he made a big name on the basis of his hard work and business. He was highly respected in the Indian-origin community and played an active role in social service and charity work.

Canadian police deny role of any gangster

However, the Canadian Police has currently denied the role of any gangster or extortion gang in the murder. Police say that the family has also not expressed any doubt in this direction. The investigating agency believes that there could be a possibility of some old rivalry or personal dispute behind the murder.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility

Goldie Dhillon, a criminal associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has taken responsibility for the murder of businessman Darshan Singh Sahari by posting on social media. In the post, the gang claimed that they had demanded money from Darshan Singh in exchange for his big business, but when Darshan Singh refused to give the money and blocked their number, the gang took this step.
