West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin has given a big statement on Monday (April 20, 2026) regarding the assembly elections to be held in West Bengal and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He has said that this time the elections being held in West Bengal are being fought by the people here. The people of Bengal are completely fed up with the behavior and corruption of Trinamool Congress (TMC) Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s government.
He said that the way the people of Bengal have been suffering and the struggle that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers have put up, is on the lips of every person of Bengal today. Apart from this, the love, trust and relation of the people of West Bengal towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, all that is being seen in the Bengal elections this time.

BJP President targets Trinamool Congress
BJP President Nitin Nabin, while targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s party Trinamool Congress (TMC), said that the way TMC behaved with the people of this state and the feeling of insecurity towards women created by the government of corruption, appeasement and anarchy, is all ingrained in the minds of the women voters of the state.
People want to go to Modi’s environment of trust: Nitin
Targeting Mamata Banerjee, she said that in West Bengal, where a woman is holding the post of Chief Minister, it is unthinkable that there is insecurity among the women there. All such issues are clearly settled in the minds of the people of Bengal and the people there have now desired to move away from the atmosphere of fear that Mamata Didi had in Bengal, to the environment of trust of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
