West Bengal Weather Update: The weather in West Bengal is quite troublesome these days. It is extremely hot since morning and people are suffering from the sun. Due to very high humidity in the air, the humid heat and suffocation has also increased.

According to Alipore Meteorological Department, the same situation will continue in many districts of South Bengal. People will have to face increasing heat as well as humidity, due to which the problems of common people may increase further.

Light storm possible in many districts

The Meteorological Department has said that strong winds along with light thunderstorm may occur in some parts of Purulia, Bankura, Jhargram, West Medinipur, West Bardhaman and Birbhum districts. Apart from this, humid heat conditions will prevail in Howrah, Purulia, Bankura, West Medinipur, West Bardhaman, Birbhum, North 24 Parganas, Hooghly and Kolkata.

Alert of strong storm and winds on 5th April

5th April i.e. tomorrow the weather may worsen further. There is a possibility of thunderstorm and storm in many districts of South Bengal. During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. The impact of this storm will be more mainly in Purulia, Bankura, Jhargram, East and West Medinipur and West Bardhaman districts.

Rain and storm continue from 6 to 9 April

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light to moderate rain on April 6 also. Along with this, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Similar weather is expected in many districts on April 7 and 8. There will be a possibility of storm and rain in most areas of South Bengal till April 9. Along with various districts of South Bengal, there is a possibility of thunderstorm in the districts of North Bengal in the next few days.
