The Supreme Court told the woman who is making dog feeding points everywhere in Noida, why she does not open her house for dogs. The court said that animal lovers want every street, every road to be left for animals, they have no meaning with humans. However, after these sharp comments, the court associated the case with petitions already pending.
A woman from Noida in Uttar Pradesh had said that the people of her area harass the dogs for feeding her. The court asked the Noida administration to create dog feeding points in every field under the provisions of ‘Animal Birth Control Rules, 2023’.
Make your home dog shelter
After listening to the petitioner, the bench of Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Sandeep Mehta said, ‘We advise you to make your house a dog shelter. Keeping every dog in your area there and feed food. The judges then asked the petitioner if she rides a bicycle in the morning? If you see it by doing this, then you will know.
The petitioner said that she walks the morning. On this, the court said that pedestrians are also threatened by dogs, but this danger is even more for people driving bicycles or two -wheelers. There are some people with such huge hearts who want to make every road in the name of animals. According to them, there should be no place for humans in them.
Allahabad High Court gave this decision
Before coming to the Supreme Court, the woman filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court. The High Court had said that the administration made arrangements for stray animals by following the prohibition of animal cruelty law and other rules, but before making any system, they should prioritize the safety of the people.
