US President Donald Trump threatened Iran on Tuesday (April 7, 2026) and threatened to destroy civilization. After this, there was a stir all over the world whether America was going to carry out a nuclear attack on Iran. Meanwhile, the White House made it clear that it is not considering using nuclear weapons in Iran.
White House statement regarding nuclear weapons
JD Vance had said that the US Army has such equipment which they have not yet decided to use to implement President Donald Trump’s tough ultimatum. On this statement of Vance, a news channel asked the question whether America is going to launch a nuclear attack on Iran. On this, the White House said that there is nothing in the Vice President’s statement which would suggest that the US is going to carry out a nuclear attack.
US Vice President JD Vance said, ‘America is confident that talks are ongoing and an answer can be found within the stipulated time. We have resources at our disposal that we have not yet decided to use. The President can decide to use them. If the Iranians do not change their attitude, they will definitely use them.
Trump’s deadline to Iran
While fixing the deadline for Iran, Trump had said that if Tehran does not reach an agreement with America before the deadline, then action can be taken any time and it can also happen on Tuesday night. Trump had said in the White House that he believes Iran’s leaders are talking, but it is not yet clear whether any agreement will be reached or not.
Iran has also rejected the proposal for a temporary ceasefire. Meanwhile, Israel also threatened to blow up Iran’s railway system. The IDF advised Iranians not to use the rail service. After this, by noon many targets were attacked. Kharg Island, along with the Yahya Abad railway bridge and a bridge on the Tabriz-Zanjan highway in north-west Iran, were targeted.
