The Meteorological Department says that smog will be visible in Lucknow in the morning, although the sun will shine as the day progresses. Meteorologist Mohd. Danish said that there is no possibility of rain in the state right now.

Weather will remain dry in Bihar
The weather will also be dry in Bihar adjacent to Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of dense fog in some areas in the morning, especially on 23 and 24 October. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature will be normal during the day, but it will be a little cold at night.

Due to snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, the temperature at many places has dropped to zero degrees or below. Tabo in Lahaul and Spiti district was the coldest. The temperature here was recorded at minus 0.7 degrees Celsius at night. The minimum temperature in Manali was 7.4 degrees, while in Shimla and Dharamshala it was 12.6 degrees.

Rain and snowfall in Himachal
Shimla Meteorological Office said that snow fell in most parts of Lahaul and Spiti district like Koksar, Sissu, Jispa, Gondla, Tandi and Keylong. There has also been snowfall on high mountain passes like Rohtang, Baralacha and Shinkula Top. Snowfall was also seen on the northern portal of Atal Tunnel. However, despite snowfall, all the roads in Lahaul and Spiti district are open.

The Meteorological Department said that 12 mm rainfall was recorded in Manali, 11.5 mm in Bharmour, 6 mm in Keylong, 3.6 mm in Bhuntar, 2.4 mm in Seobagh, 2 mm in Palampur, 1.2 mm in Kukumseri. The temperature was 0.4 degrees Celsius in Kukumseri, 1.8 degrees Celsius in Keylong and 4.9 degrees Celsius in Kalpa.

How will the weather be in Uttarakhand today?
There are chances of light rain at some places in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand today (23 October), while the weather will remain dry in the plains.
