West Bengal News: A shocking incident has come to light from Howrah, West Bengal, where the son has been accused of withdrawing all the pension money from the bank by making a fake death certificate in the name of his living mother. In this incident, the police of Liluah police station arrested son Tapan Kumar Das. The arrested person was produced in Howrah court.
Mother tortured after father’s death
78 year old Binapani Das, resident of Chakpada, Liluah, lives alone at home. Ayya Krishna Sen takes care of the sick old woman. The old woman told that her elder son lives in Hyderabad. He works in Defense and younger son Tapan Kumar Das works in the Government of India mint in Shalbani, West Medinipur. The mother alleges that after the death of her husband Kshirodchandra Das, her son Tapan started torturing and abusing her. he broke his leg. Not only this, he withdrew all his pension money.
Withdrawed all pension money
It is learned that after her husband retired from Customs in 1996, a lot of money was deposited in the pension account. After her husband’s death in 2018, the account became operational in the name of Binapani Das. Since elder brother Tapas Das was away, Tapan used to take care of this account. He stopped the pension by giving false information to the bank about the death of his mother along with his father’s death. This is the mother’s allegation. His mother also alleges that he withdrew all the money deposited in that account in his own name.
Son should be punished severely – mother
When his mother came to know about this, she lodged a complaint at Liluah Police Station. Yesterday Liluah police station arrested Tapan Kumar Das. However, the arrested Tapan denied all the allegations against him. He said that his elder brother is plotting against him.
He claimed that he took care of his mother and never beat her. Meanwhile, mother Binapani Das is happy with the news of her son’s arrest. He said that the son pushed me and broke my leg. He beat and tortured me a lot. I want severe punishment for him. She also wants the government to restart her discontinued pension.
