IMD Rain Alert: The rainy season is about to start once again in the country. India Meteorological Department Today (IMD) has issued a rain alert in many states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan from Monday 23rd March to 26th March. Alert of heavy rain and storm has been issued in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. According to the Meteorological Department, apart from thunderstorms, there is also a possibility of strong winds at isolated places in eastern Rajasthan on March 23 and March 25.
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of lightning and strong storm with a speed of 30-50 km per hour has been issued in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha during March 24-28. There is a possibility of storm and heavy rain with a speed of 50 kilometers per hour in the Ganga plains of West Bengal on March 24, 27 and 28.
How will the weather be in Delhi?
There is no rain warning in Delhi for Monday, but there will be strong winds in the morning and afternoon. From March 25 onwards the temperature will again cross 35 degrees Celsius. Due to change in weather, people will get relief from pollution for the time being. Today the maximum temperature in Delhi will be 28 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 18 degrees Celsius.
When will it rain in UP
There is no possibility of rain today in Uttar Pradesh also. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of strong wind for 3 days. However, a warning of heavy rain and storm has been issued from Friday 27 February. The districts of UP where rain warning has been issued include Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Bareilly, Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Meerut and Noida. During this period, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour. There is a possibility of damage to farmers’ crops.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in most parts of the state can remain between 32 to 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is being recorded around 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Lucknow today is expected to be 33 to 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum will be 19 to 21 degrees Celsius.
Bihar weather
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of rain and storm has again been issued in Bihar from March 24 to March 28. The districts of Bihar where there is rain warning include West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, Gopalganj, Saran, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya and Nawada. The maximum temperature in Rajani Patna today on Monday will be 29 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be 20 degrees Celsius.
