Tamil Nadu News: 29 year old Bhuvaneshwari, resident of Egmore Police Quarters of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, is a policeman. She was working in the crime branch of Egmore police station. Bhuvaneshwari had a love marriage with armed policeman Silambarasan in the year 2024.
It is being claimed that since the day of marriage, Silambarasan was suspicious of his wife and used to beat her. Even on the night of the incident, Silambarasan drank alcohol and quarreled with his wife and then went to sleep. When he woke up in the morning, he found out that his wife had committed suicide by hanging herself.
Daughter murdered for dowry- family
On receiving the information, Egmore police sent the body to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital for post-mortem. The parents of the deceased alleged that their daughter was beaten and killed due to dowry harassment. Silambarasan, who was suffering from alcohol addiction, used to beat and torture Bhuvaneshwari daily. She told that dowry was also given at the time of marriage, yet Silambarasan continued to harass her daughter mentally and physically.
lent 6 lakhs to a friend
Police investigation also revealed that before the marriage, Bhuvaneshwari had lent Rs 6 lakh to a friend and lawyer Shivamurthy from Tiruvannamalai. When Silambarasan came to know about this, he tortured his wife daily to return the money. When Bhuvaneshwari asked for money from Shivmurthy, he also refused to give the money and cheated.
Bhuvaneshwari had complained to Tiruvannamalai SP in this regard two days ago. Meanwhile, it is revealed that she has committed suicide by hanging herself due to her husband’s harassment. Police are further investigating this incident.
