Pakistan’s Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir had met with more than a dozen Shia religious leaders of Pakistan at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi last Thursday (19 March 2026), and also discussed the Iran war and the situation in the country, but in that meeting, Asim Munir had humiliated the people of Shia community and even talked about going to Iran. Pakistani Shia religious leader Allama Aga Shifa Najafi today told the people in his mosque in Islamabad that Pakistani Field Marshal Asim Munir, in his meeting with Shia religious leaders, said, “If you love Iran so much, then you should go to Iran.” According to Shia religious leader Allama Aga Shifa Najafi, in the beginning during the meeting, Asim Munir expressed his anger against Islamabad and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Expressed displeasure over the protest in Gilgit Baltistan and also said that the way the army building was burnt in Pakistan-occupied Gilgit Baltistan that day is not tolerable.

Further Allama Agha Shifa Najafi told that Asim Munir told the religious leaders of Shia community that Pakistan has a defense agreement with Saudi Arabia and Iran is attacking Saudi, in such a situation Asim Munir has told Iran that if Iran continues attacking Saudi then Pakistan will have to come to protect Saudi.
