US Iran Peace Talks in Pakistan: From Ghalibaf, Araghchi, Witkoff to Kushner… who will participate in the US-Iran talks to be held in Pakistan? see list

Amidst the Middle East war, the eyes of the whole world are on Pakistan today because peace talks between America and Iran are starting from today in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. It will include 6 representatives from Iran, 4 from America and 4 from Pakistan. Iran and America announced ceasefire for 2 weeks on Wednesday, in which Pakistan played a big role. US President Donald Trump himself had mentioned this.

Who participated in the talks from Iran’s side?

6 veterans from Iran are going to participate in this peace talks. Iranian Parliament Speaker MB Ghalibaf will lead it, while Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will attend it. Both the stalwarts have reached Islamabad for talks, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry has given this information on social media.

What did the Iranian Foreign Ministry say?

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Defense Council Ali Akbar Ahmadine and Central Bank Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati will also participate in this talk. Apart from this, experienced diplomat Majeed Takht Rakhanchi and security matters expert Mohammad Bager Jolghadra can also be a part of the talks. Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that the Iranian delegation led by Ghalibaf and Araghchi has reached Islamabad. This delegation includes about 70 members including technical experts from the economic, security and political fields as well as media persons and support staff.

Ghalibaf has named his delegation ‘Meenab 168’. This name has been given in memory of the attack on a school in Minab city of Iran, in which 168 children were killed. Through this name, the Iranian delegation is paying tribute to those innocent children during the peace talks and reminding them of that incident on the international platform.

Who participated from America’s side?

Four eminent personalities from America reached Islamabad for talks with Iran. The first name in this list is that of American Vice President JD Vance, who will lead this conversation. Trump’s son-in-law and former advisor Jared Kushner, Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Vice Admiral Brad Cooper will also participate in the peace talks.

Many prominent officials of Pakistan will also be part of this conversation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Army Chief Asim Munir, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and National Security Advisor Mohammad Asim Malik will host the talks. It remains to be seen whether this peace talks between Iran and America are successful or not.
