US Iran Peace Talks: Before talks on peace with US, Iran placed these 2 conditions, said – first complete it then we will move ahead

US Iran Peace Talks in Pakistan: The situation has become very sensitive even before the important peace talks to be held between America and Iran in Islamabad on Saturday. Iran has set two big conditions just before the start of the talks, which has further increased the importance of this meeting. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that it is necessary to resolve two issues before talks – first, ceasefire should be implemented in Lebanon and second, Iran’s blocked assets should be released. He clearly says that talks should not start without fulfilling both these conditions.

next few hours important

At the same time, Iranian army spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaqari has clearly warned that as long as the attacks on Lebanon continue, Iran will not participate in any talks. He said Iran’s military retaliation could happen “very soon” and would be “extremely devastating.” His statement indicates that the coming few hours may be very important and tension in the area may increase further.

The Iranian spokesperson warned US President Donald Trump and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu that they should “accept defeat” and stop threatening the Iranian people and armed forces. He claimed that Iran’s armies are capable of facing and defeating the armies of America and Israel on the basis of state-of-the-art weapons and technology.

At the same time, Iran reiterated its old conditions and said that before the start of talks, two things are mandatory – first, an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon and second, the release of Iran’s seized assets. It is clear from this statement that just before the peace talks, the atmosphere has become more tense, due to which questions have been raised on the success of the talks.

Iran’s 2 conditions before talks

On the other hand, US Vice President J.D. Vance warned Tehran not to play “games” with the US as he was arriving in Islamabad with the aim of ending the war. Meanwhile, the death of Iran’s former Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi is also in the news, who was injured in the recent air attack. He was the Foreign Minister during the tenure of Mohammad Khatami and his statements on the nuclear program had also raised concern at the international level.

On the other hand, Pakistan has made unprecedented security arrangements for this high-profile meeting. While reviewing the security, Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that hosting this dialogue is an honor for Pakistan. More than 10,000 security personnel have been deployed in Islamabad, ‘Red Zone’ has been sealed and strict surveillance is being maintained across the city.

Pakistan in action

While expectations have increased regarding the peace talks between America and Iran to be held in Islamabad on Saturday, Pakistan is not ready to take any kind of risk. Despite two weeks of ceasefire, tension continues in the Middle East, hence Pakistan has come into alert mode regarding the security of the delegation coming from Iran by air, especially in view of the possible activities of Israel.

As a precautionary measure, Pakistan has deployed its fighter aircraft, C-130 transport aircraft, refueling tankers and AWACS in the Middle East direction. International affairs experts believe that this step also shows the increasing global pressure on Islamabad, because in recent years this is considered a very important diplomatic meeting.

Earlier, with the help of its ally China, Pakistan had played a role in temporarily stopping the conflict between America and Iran that was going on for about 40 days, in which about 2 thousand people have lost their lives. Now Pakistan is making efforts to end this conflict permanently.

In view of the potential threat, Islamabad has been transformed into an impenetrable fort. Defense systems have been fully activated in the southern and western airspace of the city. Pakistan knows very well that the success of this meeting is linked to its international image, hence no stone is being left unturned in the security arrangements.
