The deceased, a 70-year-old man, was a retired employee of BMTC (Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation), who had earned his wealth by working hard all his life. For some time, there was a continuous dispute going on between him and his two sons regarding the division of property. The accused sons were pressurizing the father to transfer the property to their name while he was alive, but both the sons were angry due to the father’s refusal.

The seriously injured old man pleaded for saving, but the accused son continued attacking him until he died on the spot.
