A leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Andhra Pradesh, Y. S. The YSRCP rule led by Jagan Mohan Reddy has accused the theft of more than Rs 100 crore from the Tirupati temple. BJP leader and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) member Bhanu Prakash Reddy alleged that more than Rs 100 crore has been stolen from the donation box of Tirupati temple under the rule of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He claimed that the temple employee Ravikumar stole cash from the donation box and also released CCTV footage to prove his allegation.

Reddy alleged that out of the money looted from Dan box, crores of rupees were invested in real estate business and this illegal money was reportedly sent to Tadepalli Palace, the residence of Jagan Mohan Reddy. He also claimed that this theft of Rs 100 crore was the biggest loot in the history of TTD, which took place between 2019 and 2024 during the rule of YSRCP.

The video of the robbery of the temple’s donation box was shared by Narkar Lokesh, the leader of the BJP -led NDA, the leader of the TDP leader Nara Lokesh. Reddy said that during the rule of YSRCP, when the devotees gathered their meeting in the donation box of the Tirupati temple, they were looted. He said that the High Court has handed over the case to the CID and ordered to complete the investigation within a month and submit a sealed report. With this, instructions have been given to seize the board’s decisions and related documents.

BJP leader Bhanu Prakash Reddy alleged that the case was first settled through Lok Adalat and included several YSRCP leaders and top officials. He said that a prominent police officer was working with the intention of looting the property of Tirupati temple and the officials and leaders had distributed the stolen amount among themselves. At that time, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy was the president of TTD and asked him to react to it.
