The Telangana High Court has instructed the administration to provide security to a person running a salon. This person was threatened by a group of people, because he is not from the barber community. The court on Tuesday (July 15, 2025) directed the police to investigate the case and take necessary action against the people involved.
Petitioner Feroz Khan told the court that he had opened a small beauty parlor business for men and women in Vikarabad city near Hyderabad on 21 June 2025. Feroze says that a group of about 60-70 people came to the parlor on the same day and started threatening them.
Talk in vulgar language and then threatened
Feroze told the court that the group of people told him, ‘How did you dare to run a salon shop via non-mongoose (barber community)?’ Feroze told the court that people talked to him in abusive language and also threatened to suffer serious consequences.
The petitioner said that no action was taken against the accused in this regard, while he lodged a police complaint on the same day. The complaint demanded necessary action against the nominated persons and others who attacked their business complex.
Petitioner gets security
The High Court listened to this plea of the government prosecutor of the Home Department and said that the officials will take steps to ensure that no law and order situation arises and the petitioner does not obstruct his business.
