Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy described a letter written by Sonia Gandhi in a public event as’ Nobel Prize ‘and’ Oscar too honors. The incident took place during a program by All India Congress Committee (AICC), where Revanth Reddy was speaking on the stage.
He said, ‘This letter is a lifetime achievement for me. This is more valuable than the Oscar Award, Nobel Prize for me. Revanth Reddy, while raising the letter high, told that Sonia Gandhi has written this letter appreciating her successes.
Congress supported by clapping
CM Reddy said, ‘Mrs. Sonia Gandhi has written this letter appreciating my success, which is a big thing for me.’ During this time, senior Congress leaders, including Priyanka Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, supported him by clapping.
Revanth Reddy further said, ‘I might do many development work or reach a high position, but this letter of Soniaji is the biggest achievement for me.’ He also told that this letter has inspired him and it is a milestone in his political life.
Criticism on social media
His statement is being criticized on social media. In the letter written by critics to Revanth Reddy, Sonia Gandhi has apologized for not attending this powerpoint presentation, but Revanth Reddy is considering this letter as appreciation, like this letter is such a great honor for him.
