Maulana Syed Mohsin Taqvi, Shia religious leader and Vice President, Muslim Personal Law Board said that this ceasefire is a matter of happiness for the whole world. He said that Iran’s sacrifice, bravery and sticking to its objective will always be remembered. They believe that this is a declaration of Iran’s success and victory.
Maulana Takvi told that America was threatening to destroy the entire civilization, but ultimately it was forced to accept 10 points. This victory is a victory for Iran because America failed in the claims that Trump had made regarding changing the regime, the issue of nuclear weapons and the State of Hormuz.
Pakistan got success
He said that Pakistan has achieved success on this occasion, but India could have intervened in this matter and its name could have been added to this success. Maulana termed it as the negligence and deficiency of the Indian government, due to which Pakistan achieved this success.
Trump announced ceasefire
US President Donald Trump announced about 90 minutes before the end of the scheduled deadline that the US has agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Iran on Pakistan’s proposal. Trump gave this information on Truth Social on Tuesday evening American time.
Trump said that during the conversation, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir requested that they stop the destructive action against Iran. The condition was that Iran should open the Strait of Hormuz completely, immediately and safely.
two-week ceasefire
Trump said that he agreed to stop bombing and attacks on Iran for a period of two weeks. During this period, ceasefire will be implemented between both the sides. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council in Tehran has accepted this and will start talks with the US in Islamabad from Friday.
