A tragic incident shook everyone in Mallemdoddi village of Maldkal Mandal in Jogulaamba Gadwal district of Telangana. Repeated quarrels between husband and wife finally ordered three children. In this incident that took place four days ago, the wife put boiling oil on the sleeping husband, after which the husband was admitted to the hospital. Finally on Monday (September 15, 2025) evening, the husband succumbed to the evening of terrible discomfort and death.
In this heart -wrenching incident in Mallemdoddi village, wife Padma put boiling oil on her husband Venkatesh and took her to death. According to the information, Venkatesh and Padma were married eight years ago and they have three children. Since marriage, there were frequent quarrels between the two. On Thursday (September 11, 2025) last week of this month, when Venkatesh was sleeping, Padma put boiling oil on her. The seriously injured Venkatesh was immediately rushed to the Gadwal Regional Hospital. When the situation deteriorated, the doctors referred him to Kernool Hospital. Venkatesh died on Monday (15 September) evening during treatment.
Police sent accused wife into remand
On September 11, the police took Padma into custody on the day of the incident. After questioning, he was sent on remand. Circle Inspector (CI) Tunguturu Srinivasulu said that the investigation of the case is going on. However, this incident has become a topic of discussion in the village. Repeated domestic disputes not only broke a family, but also made the future of three children uncertain. Local people have expressed deep grief over the incident and have demanded strict action in the matter from the administration.
