The results of Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 are coming out today (14 November). The initial trends till 10 am have increased the stir in the political circles. According to these trends, NDA is leading on 154 seats, while the Grand Alliance is maintaining its position on 76 seats. There is a possibility of 12 seats going to the account of other candidates.
This time the assembly elections in Bihar were held in two phases. Before the elections, exit polls released by various media institutions and survey agencies had predicted the victory of NDA. The predictions of many exit polls are proving to be correct in the trends till 10 am. There are some exit polls whose predictions are considered to be the most accurate.
These three most accurate estimates of exit polls
1. According to Pollstrat, NDA may get 133-148 seats. In this, BJP was expected to get 68-72 seats, JDU 55-60, LJP-R 9-12, HAM 1-2 and RLM 0-2.
2. People’s Pulse had estimated 133-159 seats for NDA, 75-101 seats for Grand Alliance, 0-5 seats for Prashant Kishor’s Jansuraj and 2-8 seats for other candidates.
3. According to IANS-MATRIZE (ABP News), NDA was likely to get 147-167 seats. In this, BJP can win 65-73, JDU 67-75, LJP-R 7-9, HAM 4-5 and RLM 1-2. At the same time, the Grand Alliance was expected to get 70-89 seats, in which RJD can maintain lead on 53-58, Congress on 10-12, VIP on 1-4 and Left parties on 9-14 seats.
Final results of elections on 243 seats are yet to come.
Initial trends in this election held on 243 seats show that NDA has strong chances of victory. However, no estimate can be considered certain until the final results come. The contest between the NDA and the Grand Alliance has been very tough and the direct contest between Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav has further increased the election excitement.
