The accused absconding after killing a live in partner, this dirty demand was made to the woman

Andhra live in partner murder: A surprising news has come out from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, where a man killed his live in partner. It is being told that the female partner refused prostitution.

Police said on Thursday (July 17, 2025) that a 24-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her live-in partner, when she refused to join the sex business. The incident occurred after a domestic dispute at around 10:30 pm on the night of 16 July.

Know, what is the whole matter?

Giving information, Deputy Superintendent of Police S. Muralmohan said that the woman was separated from her husband after the birth of her child and was living in a live-in with a mechanic from Vijayawada. He said that the accused is allegedly an alcoholic and often assaulted the woman by accusing her of infidelity. On the day of the incident, the woman came back to her mother’s house where her brother and accused were also present.

Accused attacked family and woman

The dispute between the woman and the accused increased further when the person allegedly pressured her to do sex work. Police said that he also attacked the woman’s mother and brother, causing him minor injuries. When the woman intervened, she stabbed the woman’s chest and thighs with a knife.

The police have registered a case against the accused under Section 103 (murder) and 109 (attempt to murder) of the Code of India (BNS). The accused is currently absconding, and a campaign is being carried out to search for him.
