North-East Monsoon in Tamil Nadu: The north-east monsoon has reached its final stages in Tamil Nadu. In this situation, Chennai Meteorological Center has released a report on how the weather will be in Tamil Nadu in the next one week. It said that due to change in easterly wind speed, light to moderate rain may occur at some places over South Tamil Nadu and Delta districts, Karaikal areas today on December 12 and tomorrow on December 13. There is a possibility of dry weather in the rest of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Light fog may occur at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal regions in the morning.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur at a few places over South Tamil Nadu and Delta districts on 14th, at a few places over Coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas on 15th. Apart from this, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may occur at a few places over coastal Tamil Nadu, at a few places over interior Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas on 16, 17 and 18 December. From 12 to 14 December, the minimum temperature in Tamil Nadu may gradually decrease by 2 degrees Celsius.

Tomorrow 13th December the sky will be partly cloudy. Light fog may occur at some places in the morning. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 22 degrees Celsius.

From December 12 to 15, winds can blow at a speed of 35 to 45 kilometers per hour in the coastal areas of South Tamil Nadu, Gulf of Mannar and Kanyakumari Sea areas and at times up to 55 kilometers per hour, the Chennai Meteorological Center has warned.
