Tamil Nadu Suicide News: In Ariyalur district of Tamil Nadu, a mother committed suicide by tying a 3-year-old child in her lap. This incident has created a situation of great shock in the entire area. All this happened in the presence of the woman’s 7-year-old son, which has become a tragic incident.
The woman did a love marriage in 2017
There is a village named Pungkuzhi-Adanur near Vikramangalam in Ariyalur district. Raghupati, a resident of this area, works as a mason. His wife’s name was Pandi Lakshmi and he had two sons. Raghupati had a love marriage with Pandi Lakshmi, who was a resident of Dindigul district, in 2017.
They have two sons, Lokesh and Kavilesh. Both husband and wife often used to go to Tirupur district and earn money by doing building work. In this situation, Raghupathi had not gone to work in Tiruppur for the last few months. But after Diwali, Pandi Lakshmi went to Tiruppur to work with her two sons. Meanwhile, yesterday (December 10) evening, Pandi Lakshmi again came to Ambalavar Kattalai village of Ariyalur with her sons.
First took selfie, then committed suicide
He took a selfie with his sons at Keezh Kotteri near the bus stand. After this, she asked her elder son Lokesh to stand alone on the bank of the lake and tied her second son Kavilesh tightly with a scarf and jumped into the lake. Lokesh, who was standing on the shore, cried because he did not see his mother in the water for a long time.
Hearing his voice, people passing by asked what happened and Lokesh narrated the incident. Shocked by this, some people immediately jumped into the lake and searched for Pandi Lakshmi and Kavilesh. Later both were brought to the shore, but it was found that both had died.
Vikramangalam police were informed regarding this incident and they reached the spot, seized the bodies of both and sent them to Ariyalur Government Hospital for post-mortem. Later, after registering a case in connection with the suicide, the police have decided to interrogate husband Raghupathi and the families of both.
