Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Saturday (October 11, 2025) reviewed the progress of the proposed T-Square and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub in Hyderabad. In this important meeting, IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, Special Chief Secretaries Jayesh Ranjan and Sanjay Kumar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to CM Vemula Srinivasulu, TGIIC Managing Director Shashank, T-Fiber Managing Director Venu Prasad, IT Department Deputy Secretary Bhavesh Mishra and other senior officials were present.
The Chief Minister stressed on developing T-Square as an iconic building that would strengthen the global identity of Hyderabad. He directed that the construction work of T-Square should start by the end of November 2025. Special attention was asked to ensure that all safety standards are followed in the construction as well as to make the parking facilities uninterrupted.
Project center of attraction at global level
The CM also stressed that concrete steps should be taken to establish outlets of international brands like Apple in T-Square, so that this project becomes a center of attraction at the global level. Instructions were also given to design T-Square as a 24-hour facility and set up a dedicated utility zone.
The Chief Minister said, ‘T-Square will not only be a building, but will be a symbol of technological and business progress of Telangana.’ For the AI Hub, the CM ordered to inspect the buildings to set up a temporary facility at the Engineering Staff College.
Role in providing global leadership to Telangana
He stressed the need to set up a corpus fund for the AI Hub and constitute a board with representatives from world renowned AI companies. This board will play an important role in providing global leadership to Telangana in the AI field.
Minister Sridhar Babu said that T-Square and AI Hub projects will prove to be a milestone in making Telangana a hub of technological innovation. Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan assured that all the departments together will complete the projects in a time bound manner.
Significant contribution to employment generation and investment attraction
This review comes at a time when the Telangana government is adopting an aggressive strategy to establish Hyderabad as a global technology and business hub. Projects like T-Square and AI Hub will not only boost the local economy but will also contribute significantly to employment generation and investment attraction.
