The CBI has busted an International Cyber Fraud gang on Tuesday (July 08, 2025), which was cheating the people of Britain and Australia in the name of technical support. During this action, three locations were raided in Noida, including a full operation fake call center.
This call center was running in Noida SEZ (Special Economic Zone) and was cheating foreign nationals on the pretext of giving technical support. As soon as the CBI got information, the CBI case was filed and the raid was conducted under Operation Chakra-V.
Foreign people used to call and make money
CBI said that this gang used to call the people of UK and Australia by calling themselves technical support staff of big companies like Microsoft. He was intimidated that he had a virus in his computer or device and then a huge amount was collected in the name of solving the problem.
Live scam calls were caught from fake call center during CBI raid. The investigating agency has seized documents related to calling setup, fake scripts and fraud. This call center was running in the name of firstidea and was hiding its identity using technology. CBI has arrested the operative Nishant Walia of this entire racket, who is the partner of Firstidea.

In this operation, CBI was also helped by FBI (USA), National Crime Agency of UK, and Microsoft Corporation. CBI officials say that the investigation of the case is going on, there may be more revelations in this case in the coming days.
