ABP Network’s prestigious Southern Rising Summit 2025 will be organized in Chennai today (25 November, Tuesday), in which many big personalities from the world of politics, education, technology, industry and art will come together on the stage. In this whole day long program, there will be discussions on the future, policies, development, social issues and new possibilities of South India.
The program will start with the welcome address by ABP Network Director Dhruv Mukherjee. After this, Tamil Nadu Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin will share his opinion on the development policies of the state on the topic Growth with Equity on the stage.
Tamil Nadu School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi will present his important talk on education reforms. Former Telangana MLC K. Kavita will speak on Politics of Families.
These celebrities will participate in the main session
In the main session, DMK’s Salem Dharnidharan, AIADMK’s Kovai Satyan, BJP’s S.G. Surya and Bennett Antony Raju of Tamil Nadu Congress, where they will discuss the ongoing controversy regarding SIR Electoral Roll.
In the afternoon, actress Malvika Mohanan, Director of IIT Madras, Prof. V. Kamakoti, and Yash Mehta, CEO of ABP Education will talk on technology, language and new dimensions of education.
Former Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss, former BJP Tamil Nadu President K. Annamalai and Kerala Government Minister Rajesh MB will present important views on their respective areas.
The evening session will be special
The evening session featured playback singer Kavita Krishnamurthy, industry luminaries Pritish Vedapuddi, Veemesh P and AD. Padmasingh Isaac will participate. In the session focused on women empowerment, two women crane operators from Kerala – Nanthana Mary JD and Reetha RN will share their experiences. The program will conclude with a session by popular standup comedian Shraddha Jain, in which she will talk about the importance of diversity and art.
