Skeleton found from vacant house after 10 years, 84 missed calls found in Nokia phone, Hyderabad police engaged in investigation

Police have recovered a skeleton in a vacant house on Monday (July 14, 2025) in Nampalli, Hyderabad. According to the police, this skeleton may be of Amir Khan, who died 10 years ago. Apart from the skeleton, the police have found a Nokia phone and old notes in this house.

Police said that this house belongs to Munir Khan, who had 10 children. The third son of these son Amir Khan lived here, while other children lived elsewhere. The police came to know about the whole case when a local resident entered the house to take a cricket ball and made a video of the skeleton.

Police got information after watching the video

In the video, a skeleton is lying in the kitchen of the house on the stomach and there are many utensils around it, then the police started investigating the case. Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Kishan Kumar said that the phone has been repaired and a total of 84 missed calls made in 2015 have been found in it.

Kishan Kumar further said that the skeleton was about 50 years old and was not married. He told that the person died a few years ago and his bones were also broken. The police have not found any marks of injury and blood.

Old notes found under pillow

ACP Kishan Kumar further said that apart from the phone, we have received old notes under the pillow, which seem before the 2016 demonetisation. The deceased’s younger brother Shadab has identified the ring and shorts found on the remains of the skeleton.

He further informed that the investigation is still going on for the correct identity of the deceased and the skeleton has been taken to the morgue. The site of the incident on Monday is being thoroughly investigated and the clues team has visited the house to collect evidence.
