Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh today (November 19, 2025), where he paid homage by offering prayers at the holy temple and Mahasamadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. During this, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan were also present with him.
PM Modi attended the centenary celebrations
Prime Minister Modi participated in the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Satya Sai Baba. Here he will release a set of commemorative coins and postage stamps dedicated to the life, teachings and legacy of Sathya Sai Baba. PM Modi will also address a large number of devotees and citizens present in the program.
CM Naidu welcomed at the airport in the morning
CM Chandrababu Naidu welcomed Prime Minister Modi at Puttaparthi Airport in the morning. After this both the leaders reached Prasanthi Nilayam and prayed at the Mahasamadhi of Satya Sai Baba. Then he reached Hill View Stadium, where the main event of the centenary celebrations was held. CM Naidu wrote on X- ‘I am very happy to welcome Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to attend the centenary celebrations of Lord Shri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi. I look forward to soaking in the divinity of this sacred place and remembering God’s immense contribution to this region and humanity.

Will leave for Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
After participating in prayers and programs in Puttaparthi, Prime Minister Modi will go to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu today itself. There he will inaugurate the South India Natural Agriculture Summit 2025 and release the 21st installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this installment, an amount of more than Rs 18,000 crore will be given to 9 crore farmers of the country.
Big distribution program for farmers in Andhra Pradesh
After seeing off the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Naidu will participate in the fund distribution program of the second phase of Annadata Sukhibhav Yojana at Pendlimarri in Cuddapah district. Under these schemes, each farmer will get Rs 7,000, a total of 46,85,838 farmers will get the benefit, including the first and second installment, farmers will get Rs 6,309.44 crore.
