Operation Sindoor: Opposition continued here, government gave written reply in Parliament on Operation vermilion, know what minister said

In a written reply to the Rajya Sabha on Operation Sindoor, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh said, “Operation Sindoor was started to respond to Pakistan-sponsored terrorist attack. Did.”

Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh further wrote that these provocation and enhancing actions conducted by Pakistan were faced by the Indian Armed Forces with a strong and decisive response, causing a lot of damage to the Pakistani Army. Subsequently, on 10 May 2025, Pakistan’s Director General of Military Operations requested his Indian counterpart to stop firing and military activities, which agreed later on the same day.

Operation Sindoor in response to Pahalgam terror attack
Pakistani terrorists targeted tourists in Pahalgam on 22 April 2025. A total of 26 people died in that attack. After this, India targeted terrorist bases located in Pakistani and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on the night of 6-7 May under Operation Sindoor. 100 terrorists died in that operation. Due to this, Pakistan was shocked and started firing firing in violation of ceasefire from across the border. Many innocent citizens died, in response to which India took action and intensified the attack and destroyed many airbase of Pakistan. Apart from this, the Pakistani air defense system also ended in the Indian Army attack. Seeing this, the Pakistani army got scared and immediately requested India to stop the attack.
