Prior to the discussion on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday (July 28, 2025) cited the Hindu holy book Ramayana to mention India’s action on Pakistan’s terrorist bases.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said in a post on the social media platform X on Monday (28 July 2025) that when Ravana crossed the Laxman Rekha, Lanka was burnt. When Pakistan crossed the red line drawn by India, the terrorist camps faced fire.

In Delhi, the Union Minister warned the entire opposition, including the Congress, that he should not speak the language of Pakistan in the Parliament of India, so that the morale of the army would fall. He said that he would like to tell the Congress not to talk anti -national in Parliament. They should not say anything that hurts the Indian Army. Operation Sindoor is a symbol of the changing face of India.

Along with this, he also posted a song from Kailash Kher, which is said that this operation was for India’s “Aan, Ban, Swabhiman”. This one minute clip begins with a line in Hindi by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he has dedicated Operation Sindoor to “every mother, sister and daughter of the country”.

Sixteen hours have been set for special debate in the Lok Sabha on Monday. On Tuesday, July 29, there will be a debate in Rajya Sabha for the same period. The opposition was constantly demanding a debate about the operation vermilion, even wanted to call a special session of Parliament.

On Operation Sindoor (April 22, 2025), there was a response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 people, especially tourists, lost their lives. The Indian Army, giving a strong reply, entered inside Pakistan and demolished many terrorist bases.
