Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday (July 30, 2025) that three terrorist who killed 26 innocent people in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, has been killed in an encounter under Operation Mahadev and their involvement in this attack has been scientifically certified.
Shah said this in a special discussion on India’s strong, successful and decisive operation vermilion in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Rajya Sabha. With this, Shah accused the Congress that he is trying to save Pakistan and terrorists due to its vote bank and policy of appeasement.
Terrorist killed in army, CRPF and JK police action- Shah
Shah said, “Through the House, I want to give information about the Operation Mahadev yesterday. Tomorrow, on Tuesday (July 29), three terrorists named Suleman, Afghan and Jibran were killed in the Joint Campaign Operation Mahadev of the Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police.” He said, “Suleman, Lashkar-e-Taiba was the commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba. I was involved, many of its evidences are with our agencies.
The Home Minister said, “Those who killed our innocent citizens in the Basaron Valley of Pahalgam, these three terrorists were involved and all three were killed yesterday.” I give a lot of gratitude to the House and the whole country to all the personnel of Para 4, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police of the Indian Army.
Terrorists have been confirmed in a scientific manner- Shah
According to the Home Minister, on April 22, at one o’clock in the day, there was an attack in the Basaron Valley of Pahalgam and he reached Srinagar at 5.30 pm and a security meeting was held on 23 April and it was arranged strongly that the murderers who committed brutal killings should not leave the country. He said, “It was confirmed through full investigation and scientific ways that these three terrorists had killed 26 innocent people in Basaron Valley of Pahalgam on 22 April.”
