‘No trust’, know what Iran Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said after talks failed with America?

Iran US Talks Failure: After important talks with America in Pakistan remained inconclusive, a sharp reaction has come from Iran. Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and delegation leader Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Iran negotiated with full intentions, but due to past experiences it cannot trust America.

“Before the talks, I stressed that we have the necessary goodwill and will, but because of the experience of the last two wars, we do not trust the other side,” Ghalibaf said.

Trust could not be built despite Iranian proposals

He said that the members of the Iranian delegation put forward many positive initiatives keeping the future in mind, but the American side failed to win trust in this round of talks. He said, “My colleagues took the initiative with forward thinking, but the opposite party could not gain our trust.”

Gave direct warning to America

Ghalibaf said, “America has understood our logic and principles, now it depends on whether it wins our trust or not?” He made it clear that Iran considers talks as part of its strategy. He said, “We consider dialogue as a method of rights-based diplomacy, which goes hand in hand with military confrontation. We will not for a moment stop our efforts to consolidate the achievements of Iran’s 40-day national defense.”

Told Pakistan – brother country

Praising Pakistan’s cooperation, Ghalibaf said, “I am grateful for the efforts of our friend and brother country Pakistan in making this process possible and wish all the best to its people.” Thanking the people of the country, he said, “Iran is a country of 9 crore people. Our brave people took to the streets on the advice of the Supreme Leader and supported us and sent us forward with their prayers, for this I am grateful to them.”

Team appreciated after 21 hours of talks

In the end, Ghalibaf praised his comrades and said, “I want to say to my comrades who participated in this difficult 21-hour conversation, well done, may God give you more strength. May our beloved Iran always live and be strong.”
