New Delhi. Mahindra’s SUV, Bolero, which has been ruling the hearts of Indians for 25 years, has now come in a new and updated avatar. The company has recently launched the new range of 2025 Bolero (Mahindra Bolero 2025) and Bolero Neo. With the launch of Mahindra Bolero 2025, Anand Mahindra, owner of Mahindra & Mahindra, has also revealed a secret. He has written a post on X and revealed that among all the Mahindra vehicles, he likes driving Bolero the most. They lovingly call it ‘Black Beast’.

Anand Mahindra has also shared photos of Mahindra Bolera 2025. He wrote, “Ever since our first hard-top SUV, the Mahindra Armada, hit the roads, I have never driven any other car brand. (Before the Armada, I had a Hindustan Motors Contessa!) And even though I drive the XEV 9e, Mahindra’s most advanced vehicle till date, the truth is If I had to choose a car to drive myself, it would still be a Bolero.”

Anand Mahindra says the Bolero’s ruggedness and simplicity make it a true “old school road warrior”. He wrote, “I drove my Bolero — which I lovingly named the “Black Beast” — a lot, that too when the Scorpio was not even launched. And now, “The Beast is back” — the same recognizable silhouette, but reborn in a new 2025 avatar.”

Mahindra wrote that after Wagon R, Bolero is the oldest car brand in India which is in continuous production. Bolero, launched in 2000, is just a month older than Alto. Over the years, many times Mahindra Auto teams considered discontinuing it, but Bolero never agreed to say goodbye. She has been reinventing herself every time – changing, adapting, and moving forward in her own style.

What is special in the new Mahindra Bolera?

Bolero is considered the first choice of rural and semi-urban India. But, now the company has designed it keeping the young generation in mind. The new Bolero has a new grille with chrome inserts, updated bumper and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels for a premium look.

Bolero has a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leatherette seat upholstery and steering-mounted controls. 7-inch Bolera Neo. Bolero has a 1.5-litre mHawk 75 diesel engine, which generates power of 75 hp. Bolero Neo has a 1.5-litre mHawk 100 diesel engine, which produces 100 hp power and 260 Nm torque.

The ex-showroom price of the new 2025 Mahindra Bolero starts between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 9.69 lakh. The price of Bolero Neo ranges from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh.
