Who does not know Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Narendra Modi is called the Bharatiya Janata Party and the strong leader of the country and he is celebrating his 75th birthday, but before joining the BJP, Narendra Modi has held a long member and various positions in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). There is a long story behind Modi’s association with the RSS, in which one part is mentioned by those ‘lawyers’ who entered Narendra Modi’s Sangh and Narendra Modi used to wash the clothes of the lawyer during that time.
Who was that lawyer sir?
Lawyer Saheb, who entered Narendra Modi in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), was none other than Laxman Rao, who was born in Poona, Maharashtra. Laxman Rao Aamdar studied advocacy from Poona University and was a pracharak in the RSS. That is why the Sangh workers used to call him as a lawyer. After the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, the ban on the Sangh was removed on 11 July 1949. After the removal of the ban, the Sangh led by Golwalkar left Maharashtra and started its roots in other states. Under this, Laxman Rao Aamdar got the work of advancing the organization’s work in Gujarat.
How PM Modi joined the Sangh?
In 1958, lawyer Saheb was on a stay in Vadnagar, a small town in Mehsana district of Gujarat, where he came to administer the oath of loyalty to the Sangh to the child volunteers. Eight -year -old Narendra Modi was also involved in the line of those child volunteers.

After 12 years, Narendra Modi left his home in Vadnagar and came to Ahmedabad and started working in his uncle’s canteen. After a few months, he started a bicycle and started a business of selling tea on it. He installed his first Thia near the Geeta temple in Ahmedabad, from where the Sangh’s campaigners and volunteers were to come.

After some time, Modi started getting closer to the leadership of the state level of the Sangh living in Ahmedabad. At the same time, the late journalist MV Kamat quoted him in a book written on Narendra Modi’s biography, ‘At that time 10-12 people lived in the RSS headquarters of Gujarat. The lawyer asked me to come and stay there. I used to make breakfast and tea for campaigners and other workers every morning, after which I would go to the branch. After returning, he used to sweep the entire headquarters. After this, I used to wash my and the clothes of the priests.
