Tamil Nadu News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Pothatturpet area of ​​Pallipattu taluk near Tiruttani in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu, where a minor girl, deprived of her parents, was raped. The accused has been identified as Senthil Kumar, who has been arrested by the police under the POCSO Act and sent to jail.

According to the information, Senthil Kumar is a resident of the same area and used to do weaving work at home. He got married a few years ago and has a 13-year-old daughter, who studies in class eight in a nearby government school. Senthil Kumar used to drop his daughter to school and bring her back on his two-wheeler every day.

Took advantage of the opportunity and raped the girl

Another student studying in the same school, who did not have parents, lived with her grandfather. Both the girls studied in the same class and became good friends. Whenever Senthil Kumar took his daughter to school, he used to drop the girl along with him to school on his two-wheeler.

Even on the day of the incident, Senthil Kumar took his daughter and the minor girl to school. On the way, the girl told that she had to take a copy of her Aadhar card for work related to the government assistance scheme. After this, Senthil Kumar dropped his daughter midway and took the girl to his home.

It is being told that the girl’s grandfather was not present at home at that time. Taking advantage of this, Senthil Kumar raped the lonely girl. The victim protested and said that this was wrong and that she should be allowed to go home, but the accused did not listen to her.

The girl told her ordeal to the teacher

After the incident, the scared girl somehow ran away from there and reached her friend and told her the entire ordeal. After this, both the girls went to school and informed another student there about this. The victim girl tried to contact the child helpline number for help, but due to lack of contact, she told a school teacher about the entire incident. The teacher immediately informed the girl’s grandfather about this.

After this, the girl’s grandfather reached Tiruttani police station and lodged a complaint about the entire matter. As soon as the complaint was received, the police immediately registered the case and, acting under the leadership of the Inspector of All Women Police Station, arrested the accused Senthil Kumar.

The accused was presented in the court under the POCSO Act, from where he was sent to judicial custody and sent to Puzhal jail. Police say that detailed investigation of the case is going on and counseling and necessary assistance is being provided to the victim.
