He said that religion is a matter of personal choice, but there should be no temptation or pressure in it. He clarified that the government is making efforts to stop illegal infiltration, but the society will also have to play its role in it.

‘We are all Hindus, this is our identity’

Bhagwat said that RSS is a supporter of unbroken India and the Sangh has always opposed the division. He said, ‘We all have an identity and he is a Hindu. One should talk about unity where there is a difference.

Big statement on reservation

On the question asked about reservation, Bhagwat said, ‘If there is injustice to any class and they have not got representation, then they should get support. As long as the beneficiaries feel that now we can stand on ourselves, reservation should continue. He further said that the objective of the Sangh is to eliminate caste discrimination and gap in the society. ‘When someone has fallen in the pit, it is necessary to pull it up and then only unity and harmony will come in the society.’
