Modi Phone Call to Kharge: Mallikarjun Kharge’s pacemaker transplant surgery, PM Modi phone, said- ‘Prayer for longevity’


Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken to the phone to the Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge on the phone, who was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore for a pacemaker transplant. Prime Minister Modi wished Mallikarjun Kharge to get well soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Talked to Kharge ji. Took information about his health and wished him to be healthy. I pray for his constant stay and longevity.”

Kharge was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru for medical treatment on Wednesday (1 October 2025), where he was transplanted. Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge had confirmed that his father, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s condition is stable after the medical process.

Kharge’s pacemaker transplant

Priyank wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “The pacemaker transplant process for Mallikarjun Kharge was successfully completed. It was a small and minor process. His condition is stable after the process.” He said that Mallikarjun Kharge is likely to return to work from October 3 and participate in all his scheduled programs. Priyank further said, “We are grateful for everyone’s anxiety, support and affection.”

CM Siddaramaiah reached the hospital, go to the condition

The Congress wrote in a post made from its official ‘X’ account, “Kharge ji, you are healthy soon. Wish you strength and good health.” Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reached the Ramaiya Memorial Hospital in Bangalore on Wednesday and came to know about Congress President Kharge.

DK Shivkumar wishes to get well soon

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar also wished Kharge to get well soon. He wrote, “After being admitted to the hospital of Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge, I wish him to get well soon. God should soon get full health and keep guiding the Congress party with his intelligence.”
