On the baggage situation, he said, ‘Currently 780 bags are available at the airport and 90% of these baggage will be delivered to the passengers by tomorrow.’ He also clarified that flights scheduled for less than 6 hours will not be canceled and if seats are available before 6 hours, passengers will be accommodated accordingly.

Ministry will decide on compensation

He said that the refund has mostly been completed, while the decision regarding compensation will be taken by the ministry. Madhusudan Shankar said that he had come here to see what was the condition of the passenger facilities, and this entire inspection was a surprise audit. He said that what further action will be taken will be told in the Parliament and steps will be taken accordingly. Finally he confirmed that Indigo has given a commitment that tickets for flights within 6 hours will not be cancelled.
