Tamil Nadu News: The incident of brutal murder of a beggar woman in Mukaper area of ​​Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, has shocked the city. Investigation revealed that this youth is Shaikh, a resident of Madurai district, who lives in Church Road area of ​​Mukappuram East and earns his living by doing odd jobs like plumbing. It was told that he drinks alcohol and was seeing the woman sleeping alone on the platform for the last few days.

During police interrogation, Shaikh admitted that on the day of the incident, he tried to talk to the woman and attempted to rape her. The woman protested and screamed. Fearing that if anyone saw, he would be insulted, the Sheikh attacked the woman’s head and face with a stone kept nearby. The woman drenched in blood died on the spot. After this, the accused became unconscious at a short distance while intoxicated.

Case registered under several sections including murder

Police arrested Sheikh and registered a case against him under various sections including rape, assault on woman and murder. The accused was presented in the court and sent to jail. Police are continuing further investigation into the case and are collecting CCTV footage from the area and information from witnesses to uncover all aspects of the incident.
