Malegaon blast case verdict: ‘benefit of doubt’, all seven accused including Sadhvi Pragya in Malegaon blast case acquitted, NIA Court’s big verdict

While reading the verdict, the judge in the court told that there were many kinds of mistakes in the investigation. The government side could not even prove that the blast was in the bike. The judge also said that the Panchnama was not done properly.

Sadhvi was in the name of Pragya or not, not proved

An important thing in Malegaon blast has also been known that the chassis number of the bike could not be found. The court has said that it was not clear whether the bike was of Sadhvi Pragya Thakur or not. Whatever claims the investigating agencies have made, they have not been proved in the court.

What was the whole matter

In fact, there was a bomb blast in Malegaon in Nashik district of Maharashtra on 29 September 2008, in which 6 people lost their lives. More than 100 people were also injured due to the blast. This blast happened when people were going to offer Namaz. A day after the bomb blast, a case was registered in several sections at Azad Nagar police station in Malegaon on 30 September 2008.
