Kolkata Weather Update: Cold continues in Kolkata. The temperature of Kolkata decreased slightly compared to Wednesday. Today the minimum temperature of the city is 15.2 degrees Celsius, which is 1.4 degrees less than normal. The temperature of the city on Wednesday was 15.8 degrees Celsius. According to meteorological department sources, the minimum temperature this week will remain around 14 to 16 degrees. Even yesterday the temperature in Kolkata was around 15 degrees Celsius.
Temperature in coastal districts 14 to 16 degree Celsius
The cold continues even in the second week of December. The temperature has decreased slightly compared to yesterday. Alipur Meteorological Department has said that there will be similar weather and temperature this week. Today the minimum temperature in Kolkata is 15.2 degrees Celsius, which is slightly lower than yesterday. The temperature has been around 15 degrees Celsius for the last few days. The maximum temperature yesterday was 25 degrees Celsius. There has been no significant change in this today. The temperature in the western districts of South Bengal will remain between 11 to 13 degrees Celsius in the next few days. On the other hand, the temperature in the coastal districts will be between 14 to 16 degrees Celsius.
Extreme cold in the second week of December
If we look at the northern districts, today the temperature in Darjeeling has fallen by 4 degrees Celsius. In other hilly areas the temperature is around 6 degrees Celsius. And the temperature in the northern plains is between 13 to 15 degrees Celsius. Alipore Meteorological Department has said that similar temperature and weather will prevail in the hilly and other plain districts of North Bengal for the next few days. This means that in the second week of December, whether in North or South, winter will be felt well.
