All preparations for the assembly elections to be held in Keralam on Thursday next week (April 9, 2026) have been completed. The Election Commission is taking every necessary step to conduct fair elections in the state. Meanwhile, the excitement between political parties in the state has reached its peak and the process of accusing and counter-accusing each other is continuing. In this sequence, Congress Party leader K. C. Venugopal has made a big allegation against the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M), the ruling party in Kerala state.
Fake Aadhaar card will be used for fake voting: Venugopal
All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary K. C. Venugopal on Thursday (April 2, 2026) alleged that the ruling CPI-M is conspiring to influence the electoral process in Kerala by making fake Aadhaar cards. He said that the party is preparing fake Aadhaar cards on a large scale so that the voter list of the state can be manipulated.

While talking to the media, the Congress leader claimed that a large number of fake Aadhar cards are being printed on the third floor of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) party office building in Payyanur and it is allegedly being used for fake voting.
He said that it is clear that this activity is taking place under the supervision of senior CPM leaders. The Congress leader further said that making fake identity cards of the country is a very serious criminal act and is also a threat to the country’s security.
Demand for immediate intervention from central agencies
Congress Organization General Secretary K. During this, C. Venugopal demanded that the central agencies should immediately intervene in this very serious matter and conduct a comprehensive investigation into the alleged Aadhaar card racket going on in the office of CPI (M) in Payyanur, Kerala and strictest action should be taken against whoever is found guilty in this matter, no matter which party they belong to.
