Karnataka News: A very painful incident has come to light from a village located near Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. Madhushree (34), wife of a man named Harish, had been married for four years. Both of them also had a three year old daughter and the family Harish, his mother, wife and daughter all lived in the same house.
Everyone went to sleep after dinner
On the night of the incident, the family had dinner at home and slept in their respective rooms as usual. No one felt anything unusual during the night. When Harish woke up in the morning, he did not see his wife and daughter anywhere in the house. He got scared due to the sudden disappearance of both of them.
Harish immediately started searching the entire village with the help of his relatives and neighbors. After some time, people noticed two dead bodies floating in a lake located near the village. On looking closer, it was revealed that they were Madhushree and her three year old daughter. Seeing this scene the people of the village were also deeply shocked.

As soon as the information was received, police and fire department reached the spot. Both the bodies were taken out. Investigation revealed that the bodies of mother and daughter were tied tightly with the same cloth, which made it clear that Madhushree jumped into the lake after tying her daughter in a cloth.
On the basis of preliminary investigation, the police have considered it a case of suicide. The incident has created a situation of sadness and grief in the entire area. Families and villagers are not able to recover from this deep tragedy. Police are now investigating the reasons behind the case However, the reasons for suicide have not been clearly known yet.
