New Delhi. Maruti launched its Maruti Fronx SUV in the Indian automobile market some time ago. In India, this car has received great response due to its dhansu look and premium features. The special thing is that it has also been manufactured in India itself. Now recently Fronx was crashed in Japan NCAP. In this test, Maruti’s SUV achieved 84 % points. Fronx received 163.75 points out of 193.8 and achieved 4 star safety.
Japan NCAP: Preventive Safety Performance
In this Test, Fronx scored 79.42 out of 85.8 and secured rank A. Also, the total score was 94 %. Fronx obtained the entire points (out of 5) in the damage mitigation break for pedestrians in day, night, bicycle and lane departure. It lost some points in the damage mitigation break for the interaction, where it got 3 out of 5 points.
Japan NCAP: Cologue Safety Performance
In this section, Fronx got B rank and scored 76.33 out of 100. This car of Maruti Suzuki managed to score full points in 3 sexes – full rap frontal collozen (driver’s seat), pedestrian safety (foot) and side impact (driver’s seat). The first two sexes have been added to the recent crash test.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx in India
Fronx falls under Maruti Suzuki’s premium brand Nexa Experience and is available in three powertrains. The entry-level model is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine, with an output of 88.5 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is connected to 5-speed manual or AMT. The company claims that there is a fuel economy of 21.79 km per liter in the past and later 22.89 km per liter. Fronx also offers a 1-liter turbo petrol engine with 98.6 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 147.6 Nm at 2,000-4,500 rpm, which is added to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic torque converter. The third option is the CNG model, which generates 76.4 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 98.5 Nm at 4,300 rpm.
