Indigo’s condition still bad! More than 200 flights cancelled, Delhi Airport issues advisory


There is still a crisis regarding Indigo flights. Thousands of passengers are facing problems due to this. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also issued a show cause notice to IndiGo. Meanwhile, Delhi Airport Authority has issued an important advisory for passengers. The authority said that now most of the flights from Delhi are flying on time. However, the important thing is that more than 200 flights were canceled from Delhi on Monday (8 December).

Delhi Airport has shared the post on X. Through this he said, “The operation of Delhi Airport is going on very smoothly. However, some flights may be canceled or rescheduled. Our ground team is working very hard for the convenience of the passengers. We urge passengers to keep checking with airlines for updates on their flights.

Many Indigo flights canceled

234 flights were canceled from Delhi Airport on Monday. And 9 flights from Mumbai have been cancelled. Flights from Mumbai to Chandigarh, Nagpur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa and Darbhanga were cancelled. Whereas flights from Delhi to Banaras, Indore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Jammu were cancelled.

DGS issued show cause notice

DGCA on Sunday gave more time to IndiGo Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Elbers and Accountability Manager Istro Porqueras to respond to the ‘show cause notice’ issued for the flight problem. A senior official said that both have been given additional time of 24 hours to file their replies or till 6 pm on Monday. There has been massive disruption in IndiGo’s flight services for the last six days, due to which thousands of passengers have been inconvenienced. It is in this background that the regulator had issued a show cause notice.
