Indigo aircraft going to Kolkata hit a bird in the sky, returned to Nagpur

Indigo flight: An Indigo aircraft, flight to Kolkata from Nagpur Airport on Tuesday morning, returned safely after hitting the bird. According to airport officials, there were 160 to 165 passengers in the aircraft. The aircraft was brought back as a precaution and all passengers are safe.

A spokesman for IndiGo Airlines said that flight number 6E 812 faced the incident of colliding with the bird soon after flying from Nagpur. The pilots decided to take the aircraft back to Nagpur Airport, taking vigilance.

Flight canceled

The flight was canceled for Tuesday due to technical checking and maintenance of the aircraft. The company has made arrangements for alternative travel along with providing refreshments to passengers. At the same time, the entire fare will be refunded to the passengers who canceled the ticket.

AirIndia flight also had to return

On Sunday, the Air India aircraft going from Delhi to Indore had to return shortly after flying. According to the information, the pilots received an alert of fire in another engine. After this, the ATC immediately declared the emergency and the aircraft was safely removed.

The fire brigade and relief rescue teams were ready at the airport before the landing. All passengers are safe. Air India provided another aircraft for passengers. The DGCA will investigate the incident and an attempt is being made to find out why the indication of the fire came.
